This roasting technique really brings out the sweetness in the cauliflower.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"cauliflower%20-%20completed.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.feedyourkids.com\/cauliflower%20-%20completed.jpg\" width=\"349\" height=\"343\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Caramelized Cauliflower<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 head cauliflower<br \/>\n3 to 4 Tbsp. olive oil<br \/>\ngood quality salt, to taste (1\/2 tsp?)<\/p>\n<p>Wash the head of cauliflower well and cut in half.  Cut each half into 1\/4 inch to 1\/2 inch slices.  Toss with the oil, then lay flat in a large baking dish (I used a very large cake pan).<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"cauliflower%20before%20baking.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/www.feedyourkids.com\/cauliflower%20before%20baking.jpg\" width=\"365\" height=\"260\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Cauliflower, before baking.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bake at 400 until it is lightly browned, about 15 &#8211; 20 minutes, stirring or turning once during cooking time (it will brown more on the bottom than it does on the top).
